Peru’s YoY inflation in June was essentially unchanged relative to May at 1.7% (see our Peru inflation chart pack for more details). All items ex-food and fuels saw a decline in YoY inflation to 1.70% from 1.79%. Core inflation measures have continued to consolidate lower, but the monthly trends are generally staying in line with pre-COVID seasonals. In all, we see inflation in Peru as well behaved and anchored around the 2% target.
