Foreigners increased holdings of Brazilian debt by BRL30.6bn in January
Foreign investors increased their Brazilian local debt holdings by BRL30.6bn in January after a BRL 39.2bn increase in December. This brings the total share held by foreigners to 10.7%. Aside from a spike to 11.2% in November 2024, this is the highest share since early 2020.
