- EUAs closed the week at EUR75.61 per tonne, a gain of c.7% but below Thursday’s weekly high at EUR78.10. The December 2024 EUA Futures are currently trading at EUR76.88.
- The general trend of EU carbon prices remains positive, as sentiment is improving due to a gradual improvement in the EU economy. While we do not expect a "game changer," we believe that the worst of the economic cycle is over. Today’s IFO came in below expectations with current sentiment flat vs. last month but with an improvement in business expectations.
