Santiago Mendez joined the Global Market Strategy team at BBVA in January 2024. Prior to joining BBVA, he held different investment roles at Foresight Group, investing in Global Equity Markets, and ICM Investment Management, with a focus on Emerging Markets. He was also a Research Associate at IHS Markit. Santiago holds a degree in business from University Carlos III of Madrid and a Master’s in Finance from the University of Durham. He is also a CFA charter holder.
